Our late lunch was wonderful! We started with the fried livers and quail, both were delicious but quail was the crowd favorite! My chicken tenders on the chophouse salad were cooked perfectly complimented with bacon, blue cheese crumbles, and deviled eggs 😍 My daughter loved the mac and cheese with chicken tenders (off menu request they honored!) Hubby enjoyed the pot roast with potatoes and cabbage. Beer served cold and Titos Bloody Mary was great too!!

Very cool place. Amazing service and great food. The food took longer than expected, but was worth the wait overall. The steaks and pot roast were the best! The fried chicken needed more seasoning.

I have to say this, maybe one of my faite restaurants in Chattanooga. The food is so delicious. I never have been one to like steak, but this place literally made me like steak. It has the perfect seasoning the perfect tenderness and everything you feel like you’re fine dining but for the prices is not horrible at all this is my favorite place to go to for occasion. The only thing that I would say that is kind of annoying as you have to reserve a while ahead we got lucky and went on a day that wasn’t busy but we sat outside and if you do sit outside, just beware it is loud with traffic and firetrucks lol. But this is one of my favorite places and I will be coming back.

I've been coming here for sixteen years and have never ever been disappointed. For the quality of the service and food, I'd much rather come to the public house as opposed any other place in the area. Highly recommend 👌 👍🏻 Shout out to Noah, an excellent waiter that served me today. I had the grilled salmon, beets and collard greens for lunch. Very very good. One thing I should mention is do not go between two and five p m. . They close down the dining room and patio, and the only option is the small, dark, and loud bar seating. Also there are very few options that they serve on the menu. But it is great, just as long as you don't go during those three hours.

It's been years since I stopped here. What a treat! I enjoyed the lovely pot roast that was so tender and the sauce was rich. I enjoyed a side of beets with goat cheese and a small salad. Everything was delicious. One companion got the chicken livers with grits and hot butter sauce. The batter was too heavy so she was searching for the actual meat, but the flavor was wonderful with a kick of heat. A little more grits would have allowed her to soak up the sauce and pair with the healthy portion of chicken. My other companion enjoyed the roasted quail small plate. The inside was juivy with a crispy skin. We also ordered a special brown butter latte that was so smooth and tasty. It needed to be a little warmer, but the flavor was so good. Beautiful presentation for all the items and good service.

My husband and I ate at Public House about 10 years ago and remember it being very good, so on his birthday trip to Chattanooga we decided this would be a great place for a celebration dinner. Our server Noah was exceptional. He was so professional and competent, but also very friendly. We started our dinner with the meat/cheese plate and thought it the perfect beginning to our meal. I had the quail and white bean cassoulet and my husband had the salmon; both entrees were very good. I personally thought the cassoulet could have used more seasoning, but other than being a bit bland for my taste, I thought the execution was lovely. We finished our meal with a coffee and a hot chocolate After tip, our meal was under $100.

We couldn't decide what entrees to order, so we decided on a couple of appetizers and sharing. I have never seen barbecue carrots on a menu and had to try them. My wife made fun of me ordering the barbecue carrots and then proceeded to eat more than me. They are delicious! We also ordered deviled eggs, chicken livers, and trout dip. Everything was delicious and when plenty to take home. Our server was outstanding and it was an excellent dining experience.

TOUCHDOWN!!! Great food, great service, and friendly staff. We grabbed dinner here with friends while in town for an event and it was so good. The appetizers were amazing and the food was scrumptious as well. Awesome vibe and atmosphere as well. Fun place for celebrations.

Wow, we are sure glad we picked this restaurant to eat at during our recent visit to Chattanooga. Our server Noah was on top of his game especially staying the specials. We dined during lunch which I considered very fair for the prices. I opted for the pot roast, grits, and beets with goat cheese. Absolutely delicious. My girlfriend tried the pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese. Let me tell ya, the pork was amazing, and the mac was the best I've probably ever tasted. Loved the water in the glass bottles as well. If I'm ever back in the area again, I know where I'm eating.
